Karin Bruckner was born in Switzerland and educated in Switzerland, Germany and the United States.  She holds a Master of Architecture degree from the Technical University in Munich and a Master of Science in Architecture and Building Design from Columbia University in New York, where she has lived since 1988 with her husband and two children.

After working as an architect for Richard Meier & Partners and Philip Johnson Architects in NY she returned to her passion for art.  Since 2009 she has participated in a variety of group shows, including
